First stop on the trip to Singapore, a modern, bustling city that’s a pleasure to explore.
Three days are enough to get a good overview. Getting around is particularly easy thanks to the metro, and the SimplyGo pass is very convenient for optimizing your trips.

We stayed at the Hotel Bencoolen: comfortable, well-located, with a nice rooftop pool (though the breakfast was rather basic).
To better understand the country’s history, there are two must-see attractions:

• Asian Civilisations Museum
• National Gallery Singapore

Among the must-sees, we particularly recommend:

• Chinatown, Singapore and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which are particularly lively during Chinese New Year
• Orchard Road, a symbol of modernity and shopping
• Emerald Hill Road, with its well-preserved traditional Chinese houses
• Little India, Singapore, exotic and bustling
• Marina Bay and the Merlion, a must-see in the evening

Our interactions with locals at the local markets were particularly memorable: they were warm, open, and always eager to share their cuisine and daily lives with us.

Malacca & Kuala Lumpur

After landing in Kuala Lumpur, we headed straight to Malacca.

A charming provincial town known for its local Liberica coffee, its temples, and its peaceful atmosphere. A canal cruise offers a leisurely way to explore the town, while the restaurants on the outskirts provide a wonderful taste of local life.

We then continue on to Kuala Lumpur, a vibrant and diverse capital city.

Stay in a high-rise apartment offering spectacular views and an impressive infinity pool.

Must-sees:

• The Petronas Towers, the country's landmark
• The aquarium located at their base
• The night market in Jalan Alor, which is bustling and full of street food
• The charming and authentic Chinatown

A memorable discovery: the durian, an iconic fruit with a very distinctive aroma but a surprisingly delicious taste.

Penang

On the way to George Town, a must-see stop at the impressive Batu Caves and their gigantic statue of Murugan.

In Penang, we enjoyed:

• The Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, a magnificent historic mansion
• The Pinang Peranakan Mansion, rich in heritage
• The piers in George Town, perfect for watching the sunset

Also:

• Butterfly and Spice Farms
• The majestic Kek Lok Si Temple, a vast spiritual complex overlooking the city

Ipoh

In Ipoh, we discovered a quieter, charming stopover.

On the agenda:

• A comfortable hotel with a view of the mountains
• Mural art in the city
• Concubine Lane, lively and picturesque
• A break at OldTown White Coffee

Not to mention the surprising Perak Cave Temple, a spiritual site nestled in the rock.

Cameron Highlands

A complete change of scenery in the Cameron Highlands : cool temperatures, mist, and lush green landscapes.

Accommodations in a colonial-style hotel, featuring a traditional tea time and a serene setting overlooking the golf course.

On the agenda: tea plantations, strawberry fields, and walks in a humid, relaxing atmosphere—perfect for nature lovers and hikers.

Langkawi

Last stop in Langkawi :

A week of total relaxation after the tour: beaches, boat trips through the mangroves, waterfalls, rainforest, night markets, and spectacular sunsets.
The spacious, upscale accommodations—featuring a private pool and separate suites—were the perfect complement to this restful getaway.
An ideal spot for families, where everyone can find their own balance between activities and relaxation.
