The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale establish the rights and obligations of the parties involved in the online sale of services offered by Indochina Secrets. Indochina Secrets specializes in the creation of tailor-made trips, offering travel preparation prior to departure.
By booking a consultancy service via the https://indochinasecrets.com/ website, the customer is responsible for reading and accepting these terms and conditions of sale without reservation before finalizing the order. The customer also confirms that he/she has the legal capacity to enter into commitments in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The customer acknowledges that he/she has read all the general terms and conditions of sale and, where applicable, the special terms and conditions of service, and accepts them without restriction or reservation. The customer acknowledges having received the information necessary to assess the suitability of the offer for his/her needs.
Payment of the pre-study, also known as the Initial Phase or Preparation Phase, on the PayPal site automatically validates the customer's acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale Edition 2024 01.
Indochina Secrets reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time, without notice, either in order to improve the use of its website https://indochinasecrets.com/, or to comply with new legislation. The conditions applicable to an order are those in force on the date of the order.
Indochina Secrets offers you advice from travel consultants for tailor-made trips to Indochina.
- A travel planner or travel consultant is not a travel agency. He/she doesn't sell you travel, but charges you for a consultancy service.
- A Travel Planner is not authorized to make reservations with airlines, hotels, restaurants or local guides for his or her clients.
- A Travel Planner is totally independent. He/she is not tied to a network of service providers (hotels, cruise operators, carriers, restaurateurs, guides, etc.); he/she is totally free to advise you on all the offers available on the market.
- A Travel Planner doesn't work from a catalog; his/her added value is the personal experience he/she shares with you.
The exchange of pre-contractual information or the provision of contractual terms and conditions is carried out by videoconference or telephone. They may also be carried out electronically, in accordance with the conditions of validity and exercise set out in articles 1369-1 to 1369-11 of the French Civil Code.

- Setting up a travel project with an initial budget estimate
- Creation of a roadbook in PDF format, with timing of stays and trips.
- Estimate of a global budget based on this roadbook (return air tickets from the country of origin are excluded from the budget calculation)
- Cost of this initial phase: €250 to be paid online via Paypal using a secure link.
- Payment for this service constitutes acceptance of the order, as well as acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions (present document).
- Once the payment order is given by the customer, the transaction is immediately debited after verification of the information. By communicating his/her banking information at the time of the sale, the customer authorizes Indochina Secrets to debit his/her card or Paypal account for the amount relating to the price indicated. The customer confirms that he/she is the legal holder of the card or Paypal account to be debited and that he/she is legally entitled to use it. In the event of error or impossibility of debiting the card or Paypal account, the sale is immediately cancelled and the order cancelled.
The prices of the services offered by Indochina Secrets are indicated in Euros (€) excluding taxes.
Indochina Secrets is currently exempt from VAT: no VAT is therefore included in the prices of all services in accordance with article 293 bis of the French General Tax Code. Consequently, prices may be increased by the VAT rate applicable on the day the order is placed, at the time the company becomes liable for VAT.
Indochina Secrets reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, while guaranteeing the application of the price indicated at the time of the order.
At the conclusion of the contract, i.e. after payment confirmed on the PayPal platform, Indochina Secrets is obliged to provide the roadbook in PDF format by e-mail to the customer with general information on itineraries, dates, as well as the main elements of the stays and activities envisaged.
At this stage, no detailed information will be provided (hotel names, contact details, list of service providers, etc.).
The delivery time for this service will be agreed with the customer, taking into account his planned departure date for the trip, but at least 1 week after payment of the order, and after the individual preparatory interview.
The travel advice provided by Indochina Secrets is based on an analysis of the customer's needs and wishes during the individual interview that takes place during the Preparatory Phase.
They therefore reflect the customer's aspirations in terms of certain stays and/or activities. If it turns out that certain stays in specific places are not to the customer's liking, or if the customer wishes to review the budget offer, Indochina Secrets is able to reframe its proposal according to the customer's wishes.
Therefore, if the customer wishes or needs to make a change to the travel package offered by Indochina Secrets, the first change is free and will be charged €100 for each subsequent change made.
If the customer is satisfied with Indochina Secrets' travel advice proposal, then an amendment may be made in order to receive from Indochina Secrets all the names and contact details of the service providers consulted by Indochina Secrets as part of the Preparatory and Reframing Phases.
This will result in :
- Payment of the final service after receipt of our invoice for fees representing 10% of the total budget of the stay online via PayPal by secure link, deducting the amount of 250 € paid during the initial phase (additional changes are not refunded).
- Payment for this service constitutes acceptance of the order as well as acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions (present document).
- In accordance with article L121-28 of the French Consumer Code, the customer does not have a withdrawal period for services offered by Indochina Secrets.
- Drawing up the definitive roadbook with a detailed list of service providers and full contact details so that the customer can book directly at the rates negotiated during the initial & refocusing phases.
- Send by e-mail and exchange by telephone or videoconference within 15 minutes
Considering the nature of the services provided, Indochina Secrets' only obligation is that of means. Indochina Secrets undertakes to carry out the services diligently, according to the rules of the trade and in the best of manners, under the terms and conditions herein, as well as in compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions.
Indochina Secrets can in no way be held responsible for the failure of reservations with any of the service providers (carriers, hotels, restaurants, activities, local guides, etc.). Likewise, in the event of difficulties before, during or after the stay, only the service provider can be held responsible. Indochina Secrets cannot be party to any dispute whatsoever between the customer and one of the service providers retained for the trip (carriers, hotels, restaurants, activities, local guides, tour operators or any other person involved in the recommended trip). All rates charged by the service providers identified by Indochina Secrets are indicative. Service providers are free to modify the prices of their services in accordance with their own general terms and conditions of sale, without Indochina Secrets being held liable.
Indochina Secrets cannot be held responsible for the poor running of the stay, for a cancellation or modification on the part of a service provider or for an unforeseen event of any kind (climatic, economic, social events, etc.).
Indochina Secrets provides expert advice on travel organization. It is therefore the customer's responsibility to make all reservations and ensure that the trip runs smoothly.
Indochina Secrets makes every effort to provide reliable information. However, Indochina Secrets cannot be held responsible for any omissions, inaccuracies or failure to update information, whether caused by Indochina Secrets or by third-party partners supplying such information.
