Before submitting our pricing policy, please note the following points: 

  • A travel planner or travel consultant is not a travel agency. He/she doesn't sell you travel, but charges you for a consultancy service. 
  • A Travel Planner is not authorized to make reservations with airlines, hotels, restaurants or local guides for his or her clients. 
  • A Travel Planner is totally independent. He/she is not tied to a network of service providers (hotels, cruise operators, carriers, restaurateurs, guides, etc.); he/she is totally free to advise you on all the offers available on the market. 
  • A Travel Planner doesn't work from a catalog; his/her added value is the personal experience he/she shares with you.

Our added value

Here are just a few of the main advantages of using the services of a Travel Planner: 

  • Tailor-made study of your travel project after analysis of your needs during a personal interview.
  • Practical knowledge of the Travel Planner's terrain

  • Financial: VAT-exempt invoicing (therefore 20% gain at the French rate on 01/01/2024), limited fees and reduced commissions.

Initial phase: preparation

Initial phase service details : 

  • Contact after payment for pre-study
  • Individual needs definition interview by telephone or videoconference: 60 to 90 minutes

  • Set up a travel project with an initial approach to service providers (hotels, guides, transfers) for an initial budget estimate.

  • Creation of a roadbook (travel log) in PDF format with timing of stays and trips. Important note At this stage, no detailed information will be provided (names of hotels, contact details, list of service providers, etc.).

  • Estimate of a global budget based on this roadbook (return air tickets from the country of origin are excluded from the budget calculation)

  • Roadbook sent by e-mail

  • Cost of this initial phase: €250 paid in advance online via Paypal using the secure link below:

Intermediate phase: reframing

Details of the intermediate phase : 

  • Individual interview to refocus the roadbook according to the desired budget: 30 to 45 minutes
  • Contact the service provider to modify the scope of the service, if necessary, or even change service provider. 
  • Corrections made to the overall budget and sent by e-mail.

    Cost of this intermediate phase: FREE for the 1st modification, invoiced at €100 for each subsequent modification.

    Important reminder: as INDOCHINA SECRETS does not make airline reservations, we cannot be held responsible for cancellations or changes to the dates or schedules of the airlines you have chosen.

Final phase: closing the deal

Final phase performance details : 

  • Payment of final service after receipt of our invoice for fees representing 10% of the total budget of the stay online via Paypal by security link, deducting the 250€ paid during the initial phase (additional modifications are not reimbursed) 
  • Preparation of the definitive roadbook with a detailed list of service providers and full contact details, so that you can book directly at the rates negotiated during the initial and refocusing phases.
  • Send by e-mail and exchange by telephone or videoconference in the last 15 minutes. 

Reservations and on-site assistance

Indochina Secrets is not in a position to make reservations on your behalf due to the nature of its activities (travel consulting). 

However, if you would like us to take care of these operations without you having to worry about reservations, we can put you in touch with our local partners who will be able to make the necessary arrangements with the service providers chosen by Indochina Secrets.

On-site support is also available, with a contact person at your disposal who can provide information or intervene in the event of unforeseen circumstances throughout your stay. 

This service will be billed to you directly by these local partners in full transparency, and we have negotiated a flat-rate billing of 150 € per day of travel (e.g. for a 15-day / 14-night stay, our partner will invoice you €1,500 excluding taxes).

You will therefore be billed for all services (the entire stay as well as the overall escort package) excluding meals, drinks, personal and cancellation insurance, tips and personal expenses, visa fees, as well as visits and excursions not included in the program. 

Payment terms will be determined by the local partner, but as a general rule 40% is required on booking, 30% two months before the trip and the balance one month before departure.
